Extreme fatigue or sudden loss of energy, especially when it appears without reason, can be an early warning of a stroke. This often coincides with other symptoms like numbness or headaches.
7. Facial Drooping
One side of the face may droop or appear uneven. Ask the person to smile: a crooked smile is a classic sign.
Importance: Early detection can save critical minutes and reduce stroke severity.
8. Difficulty Swallowing or Chewing
Problems with swallowing (dysphagia) may occur before a stroke. Food or liquids may feel like they get stuck, which can also increase the risk of aspiration.
